Dental Council of India
After the 19 Feb 06 meeting 13 names have been posted on DCI website www.dciindia.org or should we say have been backlisted as colleges have been adviced to replace these members. Read carefully these 13 names are a repeat from previous 167.
Everyone knows myriad of names who continue to go on 3-4 days basis and DCI also knows, one has to ponder on what basis is this pick and choose ?
There are faculty members who are mischevious and there are good ones who have no role to play in todays environment and getting lashed from both sides. Reason is simple Dental faculty today is a divided lot, who will bell the cat is the question. Or are we so smart that each one is a leader ?

Purpose of this blog is simple, help Dr. Kohli and DCI in its mission to revamp the dental education ? Is it ? Rather all should search their hearts for truth to get the answers.

yes many professionals are cheating there ownself by doing visiting jobs....
Looks like a lot of faculty bashing is happening.What about the managements who are on a money spinning trip? Why is nobody questioning their intentions? In the name of imparting education all one has done is resort to measures that have made a mess of a profession for which everybody is paying a price today.Everyone is equally responsible for the royal mess that has been created. About time situation is brought under control.
We hope that the HRD ministry and Mr. Kapil Sibal is listening. Please do away with such ineffecient councils which have allowed all kinds of things to go out of control and lower the value of dental education. They have shown no responsibility or accountability. We request and hope that once a new body is formed, it will comprise of experienced, honest and genuinely responsible persons with absolutely no personal agendas. Of most importance, the existing council members and officials SHOULD NOT be reinstated in these new bodies.Anyway they have already made their gains and should have no complains!
lots of eyebrows on index journals publishing,brokers have started already to publish an article for 100000rs,its a shame.who has done this index any idea anyone......
publications are only copied from foriegn journals,old wine in new bottle,nobody invents anything new,profs take help of pg students to publish articles,all bullshit...
profs above 50years should take self retirement & give chance to young blood to take charge like in cricket...wake up oldies...with old idea headed & retire gracefully rather than work till 70yrs
instead of paying 35lakhs for a PG seat,complete after 3 years,get a job for 20000pm,invest 30lakhs in reliance shares & open decent practice for 5 lakhs,listen to me dont bcom like a jerk professor in ur life...work under someone
